A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. The only problem is when the ceiling fan fixture is mounted ceiling height you can’t reach the control chains, fortunately we were able to take the chains from the fan we were replacing to make them the right length to reach,.
