Excellent quality, large lanterns for wing walls and gate columns. Receive many compliments on them.. Dunn. Tahlequah, OK. Thu Jun 11 2026

We purchased a set of lights to replace all of our exterior lighting and have been very impressed. We were able to install them all ourselves and are happy with the quality and appearance of them all. There was one defective part on one light which replaced immediately. The post light is impressive. We installed it above eye height along our front walk and it puts off a lot of light even with 40W bulbs.. Dave. Herndon, VA. Sat Sep 19 2015

Crafted from solid brass, these classic outdoor lanterns bring lasting durability, timeless elegance, and bright illumination to your home’s exterior. The versatile design complements a wide range of architectural styles. Available as a wall lantern, hanging lantern, post lantern, or flush mount light, Newbury comes in a variety of classic finishes with clear beveled glass for a warm, welcoming glow.

The post lamp was everything it was advertised to be, and a perfect match for our existing garage lamps. The only potential issue for prospective self installers... three small holes are required to be drilled in your existing post... for the mounting screws... instructions say to make these 1/16" diameter. I quickly realized this was too small, when the first brass screw sheared off when installing with a screwdriver. I went up in size to 7/64" and the next two installed as intended... fortunately I was able to use one of the old screws to replace the one that had broken. So look at the screw size, and consider a larger drill size for the pilot hole. Great purchase overall.. Alfred. The Villages, FL. Sat Jan 01 2022

Originally made to encase the light of a flickering flame, lanterns were first designed for function, not fashion. Today, they incorporate both. Take this 24.25" tall lantern head, for example: crafted from metal, it features a tapered silhouette with a ring-shaped finial up top, while molded detailing offers a traditional touch. An etched glass shade diffuses light from any four candelabra-base bulbs up to 60W (not included), while a wet location rating makes this lantern head ideal for your outdoor arrangement. Just mount it to any standard 3" W post.
