This fan is a nightmare! I am about to have it removed from my new-build primary bedroom for the second time and will be replacing with another brand. In medium and high speeds, it randomly turns on the light. The first time it was at 3:00 a.m. it also consistently unprograms the remote, so the only way to get it to work again is this dance of switching off at the switch, resetting the breaker, then reprogramming the remote. That's no way to live. The remote actually says the following?.."This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation." So there you have it. They have, in a size 2 font, this disclaimer that says it's not their fault if it doesn't work. Stay away from Wind River. They're cheap and frustrating. This glass caged ceiling fan is GORGEOUS! You can’t even tell it’s a fan because the glass covers it and it just looks like a high class chandelier.
