I purchased an open-box unit and it looks great. The base is very heavy and provides solid support for the arc lamp. At first, I thought I had tightened the Allen screws that secure the extending pole, but I hadn’t, and it slipped. Once I fixed that, everything held firmly. I assembled it on the second floor and then moved it to a third-floor bedroom. There was quite a bit of shaking due to the arc shape, but it maintained its structure without any issues. It looks great and works great. It was a little hard to get it together. The parts were hard to line up and took quite a few times to get them on straight. Haven't been able to figure out how to get the cord to come out the back. How the lamp went together the cord comes out the same side as the smaller bottom light so it's right in the front. Hope to be able to figure out how to get that changed. I hesitate to take it all apart because it was so hard to put it together. It is very sturdy.. Harriet. Bridgeton, NJ. Thu Oct 08 2026
