Sound strong materials. The base is very heavy- it won’t tip- love how big the lampshade and how big the arc is! I had some trouble with the remote and contacted Wayfair and within the hour got service, and within one day I got an email with solution from the manufacturer. I call that excellent service. I love Wayfair! This shipped quick too. Was packed very well. Highly recommend a 2 person team to attach arc to base.
