This is my second purchase for this specific medallion- it is small but works in compact spaces like closets and entryways. I really like it because I use faux styrofoam ceiling tiles to cover ugly ceilings after scraping popcorn texture (and to avoid drywall repair and re-texturing). These are easily sprayed painted by the way. Plus… doesn’t every hard-working light fixture deserve a medallion Yes!. April. Creswell, OR. Mon Aug 24 2026

24" square medallion, it's 3/4" thick. The inner opening for a light fixture base is 8-3/8". This photo shows the medallion just after installation and painting. Before painting I added texture with paintable caulk and let it dry overnight. I wanted it to look like it's been there all along. I attached the medallion to the ceiling using strong glue and a couple of screws, then caulked all the seams. Electricians will do a complete re-wire so the danglers you see are not hot. I may add another photo here when all is complete.. Dimi. Northfield, MN. Sun Nov 24 2024

I purchased this several years ago to use when I had my ceiling fan replaced. When taking down the older fan, it had a wider base and the replacement left a less then pleasing cover. Went looking for something that was lightweight and wouldn't require taking down the newly installed ceiling fan. This medallion fit the bill! Easy to install and fits together nicely. Continues to serve its purpose.. Christopher B. Wed Nov 27 2019

This is not where it’s going to go, which is as a ceiling medallion for a fan above my bed… but it is SO GORGEOUS, I’ve actually thought of putting a mirror in the middle and hanging it on a wall…Hmmm, maybe I’ll get another like it and do that, on my wall to match my ceiling medallion I’m actually in the process of getting another slightly different one, a bit larger with the circle around it, but trying to decide if I should use this color or a different one, for another ceiling fan in our living room room‼️❣️♥️.
