This is my second purchase for this specific medallion- it is small but works in compact spaces like closets and entryways. I really like it because I use faux styrofoam ceiling tiles to cover ugly ceilings after scraping popcorn texture (and to avoid drywall repair and re-texturing). These are easily sprayed painted by the way. Plus… doesn’t every hard-working light fixture deserve a medallion Yes!. April. Creswell, OR. Mon Aug 24 2026

Swapping out your lampshade can help you create a whole new look for a dated lamp. It can also mean you need to adjust your lamp's harp height for better proportions. The lamp finial is designed to help you create a more balanced lamp.

We purchased 3 different medallions to look at them in person. decide on one return the rest. They were so gorgeous we couldn’t choose readily, but have a couple light fixtures we can use them with. So we kept them all. Love them. Only recommendation is check where the light fixture attaches to the electrical box. Some medallion style are not deep so may not cover up fixture side screws.. Dab. This Timeless Creation offers an Old-World Elegance creating instant 3-dimensional detail to an otherwise boring plain ceiling. Or crown an elegant chandelier with the medallion. Adding a medallion when changing a light fixture is often a good time to consider this decorative accent. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is Hand Cast in a lightweight Polystyrene that will never shrink, split, or crack. Prior to Masterpiece Moldings' creation of this Collection by AFD Home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.

Ordered these to cover the cords on the wall sconces I ordered for our bedsides (we recently moved and weren't positive on how we would arrange our bedroom, so I couldn't go with hardwired sconces, and I didn't want lamps taking up precious space on our bedside tables). They work great! The only issue we are having is getting them to stay mounted where the cord comes out of the fixture. Right now we tuck the fabric behind the metal post against the wall and it comes dislodged every so often.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026
