We love these lights but they do get HOT, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. I don’t think they have proper ventilation holes to release heat (LEDs aren’t supposed to get this hot). The first one we ordered was defective (didn’t screw on properly) so we’ve tried three of them (we originally ordered two) and they all got hot. So it’s just a design flaw.. Lindsay. Edmonton, AB. This 1-light swing arm fixture is just what you need to shine a little light wherever you need it. It features a wall-mounted backplate made from stainless steel and a jointed arm that can be adjusted as you please next to the bed or in an unlit reading corner in the living room. We love that its weathered finish and raised accents on the joints add tons of vintage style to your decor. A cone shade completes the look as it directs the light of a 60W bulb (not included) throughout your space. This luminary can be turned on/off easily by a switch on the backplate.
