UPDATE..... Wayfair made good on the problem that I had with my floor lamp and sent me a replacement lamp pole/base. I truly love this lamp so much and it goes so well with my decor that a refund was not an option for me because I wanted another one or the replacement part. I am back to being one very happier customer. Oh my gosh, I have to edit my 5 star review to a now a 2 star. I have only owned it for less than a month and I went to move it today from my living room and into my dining room. As soon as I picked it up by the column with two hands, the base broke completely off of the column. It's like the once assembled you cannot lift it as the top 3/4 of the column is heavier than the base causing it to separate. I am devastated as I just love this lamp. This was my original review....This is a gorgeous lamp and it was super easy to assemble. The linen looking shade compliments the lamp perfectly and I couldn’t wait to buy a bulb to turn it on. I really love how this piece came together and makes my space look cozy, but also is very functional as a reading light over the sofa where my kids often times do their homework. This lamp is a little heavy than expected, which is great. I bought 3 Agripina floor lamps six months ago. We love them! The color and brightness options via the remote control are amazing. After 5 months of use, the bulbs went out. I read the manual here on the Wayfair product profile, and bought replacement bulbs that met the specs. The lamps will turn on, but the remotes will not pair. We followed the pairing instructions exactly. I called Wayfair customer service and they did not have any advice for me. We have used the lamps for a month by switching them on and off with the floor switch. Thankfully, the bulbs are stuck on the warm light at the correct brightness. But we are disappointed! I love the remotes. Today I have spent time researching how to pair a smart bulb to a lamp with an existing remote. I downloaded an app. I tried two brands. Nothing worked. THEN!!! I started googling and check this out: https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/fnmobe-a19-led-light-bulbs-with-remote-control-800lm-9w-60w-equivalent-led-bulbsstepless-dimmable-3000k-6000ke26-base-faob1004.html That is the exact same remote that I already have. what a beautiful lamp. It is simple but elegant and adds a interesting visual to any room. Putting it together was easy, the only thing I gave 4 stars because the screws it comes with aren’t the best, try to screw them very slowly or it will not take properly.
