We love these lights but they do get HOT, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. I don’t think they have proper ventilation holes to release heat (LEDs aren’t supposed to get this hot). We have them in hallways as sconces so they aren’t on all the time. The first one we ordered was defective (didn’t screw on properly) so we’ve tried three of them (we originally ordered two) and they all got hot. So it’s just a design flaw.. Lindsay. Edmonton, AB. With tool-free wireless installation, dual vertical/horizontal mounting and a removable pole, it suits entryways, bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms effortlessly.

I’m giving these sconces a full five stars because they truly are beautiful and high quality, although you do need to be aware of a quite substantial inconvenience before you order them. The design is such where you have to unscrew and take down the entire sconce to recharge them. I was lucky to be able to hang them in an area where I can use a long extension cord and charging cable to avoid this, but everyone may not be able to do so. It would’ve been much better if they designed them so that only the portion on the pole disconnected. One of the bulbs also came broken, but Wayfair is sending a replacement, so that isn’t much of an issue. I really do love the appearance and utility of these lights. They are very stylish and offer a good solution for dimly lit areas where a hardwired light isn’t an option.. Michelle. New Baltimore, MI. Thu Oct 01 2026
