This is exactly the reading lamp I’ve been looking for years! I found something similar at an antique store going for over 500 but this one is obviously better for my budget. It went together quickly and is exactly what I was hoping for with an adjustable arm to raise or lower the light. The remote is comprehensive and there are different settings for computer versus book versus rocking a baby! You can even change the color of the bulb and the brightness. I will definitely purchase another one of these! I had to edit this because after a couple of days the lamp fell down due to inadequate counterweight and I’m having a hard time getting it to stay at the proper angle so some hardware adjustments will need to be made (already over tightened it).. I needed a light for my kitchen work area because my overhead light had burned out. This light is the perfect height and arches all the way over my work area. The three temperature colors work fine and there are 10 settings for intensity. At some point I may add this to my smart home, but right now it works fine with the remote and the attached switching..
