I have 3 Fandeleirs and this is by far my favorite one. I got the silver and I’m so glad I did. What a WONDERFUL chandelier/fan and what a cool concept! So glad I stumbled across this beautiful solution for my daughter's room! It's beautiful and sophisticated. But also extremely functional (even with the smaller fan)! First of all, this is super easy to install... it's literally just connecting the live, neutral, and ground wires to the house wires and that's it! IMPORTANT NOTE: the instructions say to attach a receiver part (which you will think isn't in the box -- because it's not)... but you do NOT need that part, and can literally just skip that part of the instructions. Believe me, I thought it was missing too, told wayfair, they sent a replacement, then the new box was missing it too, so I tried installing it without it, and it worked! Anyways, the gold color is PERFECT for my daughter's Monet-inspired room. The "cracked ice" shades are beautiful. The crystal clear fan is PERFECT both aesthetically (to not broadcast there's a fan in this chandelier) but also it works great and has 6 speeds! I also love that in winter you can reverse the fan direction and pull the heat upwards to circulate it -- brilliant! P.S. the fan is ridiculously QUIET which is so awesome! I needed air circulation in my mud / laundry / plant room . This is a nice ceiling hugger, has ample lighting with 4 bulbs at 60w max each. The fan is clear plastic, so aesthetically speaking it just disappears and you see the fixture, not the fan. Super quiet when running. The remote has a timer and a mute button so no beeping when turning the fixture on/off. Be sure to tighten the screws on the 4 arms for the bulbs BEFORE installing. Gorgeous fan, but thought the blades were too small to really move air around our bedroom. To be fair, we hadnt installed it to really test it out. We have.a similar one in a smaller bedroom and it only pushes the air directly under as opposed to the more traditional ceiling fan. Our upstairs gets warm, even with central air.
