Awesome upgrade!! It took a few days to arrive & when I received it I initially was worried about the hue of the gold tone...but once it was up I am so happy for the purchase. The installation seemed pretty straightforward out of the box....my handyman put it up fairly quick. Only critique was the battery that came with the remote was dead....so he fumbled with the fan/remote for an extra 10 min thinking something went wrong with the install...only for us to figure out that it was only the battery that was the culprit. I love the modern and sleek look to the light and fan. The light can be dimmed and is almost flush with the fan. It creates a very nice amount of airflow over 3 settings, and the direction can be reversed. The product also includes a wall switch to replace your current one with two dials to adjust light and fan. Wiring is easy enough if you know something about electrical. The fan and switch require 3 wire (plus ground) running between them. We spent a day on working on changing out our wiring.
