I needed an affordable, hard-wired wall lamp over my desk that wasn't brass (gross) and this unique, charming wall lamp fit the bill. Most wall lamps have a base that blocks light reaching my desk fully, or they don't stick out from the wall far enough, causing the light to get lost behind my computer monitor. This lamp also uses normal, easy to find light bulbs. If it had had an on/off switch it would have been perfect, so I had to install a dimmer switch for it. Still worth it though.. Thomas.
