I was a bit unsure of these sconces at first because of the exposed wire and the size but I took a chance and they exceeded my expectations. They are absolutely lovely in person! The backplates also allowed us to drill screws in many spots we like so we could tweak to make sure hitting the studs. These lights have a bit of weight to them so you’d wanna secure at least one screw on the stud. Especially because you’d have to take the bulb off and charge them often. We wanted to elevate the look in our dining area. These fluted wall sconces really did the trick! The space went from meh to marvelous. Installation was easy. Removing them from the bracket to charge is a simple task. Although each sconce came with it’s own remote and batteries, we are able to use one to operate both. If they are used often, I would suggest charging at night and replacing them on the wall the next morning. This will allow for longer use. It’s hard to tell that they’re not hardwire. Easy to charge. They charge just like a cell phone.
