I ordered this to light up my small living room that doesn’t have any light fixture. It was to be used in an outlet controlled by a switch. However this lamp has a tap to turn on and is not functional being controlled by a switch. Additionally I ordered it specifically because it claimed to be heavy as it is going on carpet but it is extremely wobbly.
