Love these!! The quality is amazing and look super expensive. Elise. Austin, TX. Tue Oct 20 2026

There's a particular kind of evening worth coming home to: you climb into bed, pull the sheet up to your shoulders, and reach over to twist a small switch. A warm, amber light spills across the pages of your book — not harsh, not clinical, just soft and steady, exactly where you want it. That's the mood this sconce is built for. At first glance it reads clean and contemporary: a matte black cone shade paired with a slim brushed-gold swing arm, finished off with a round black backplate that sits quietly against the wall. But look up close, and you'll notice the inside of the shade is finished in warm gold — so when the bulb is on, the light bounces off that golden interior and comes out softer, richer, almost honeyed, rather than the flat white glow a plain metal shade gives off. The arm pivots at two points, so you aren't stuck with a fixed beam. Angle it down over your pillow for late-night reading, swing it forward beside a favourite armchair, or line a pair of them up on either side of the bed for that symmetrical, boutique-hotel feel. Because it's a plug-in design with an in-line ON/OFF switch on a nearly 5-foot cord, you don't need an electrician — just mount the backplate, plug it into a standard outlet, and you're done. It's a natural fit for renters, guest rooms, home offices, and even above the bathroom vanity: it's DAMP-rated, so it's comfortable in humid rooms where ordinary wall lamps shouldn't go. Built from all-metal iron with a welded shade and a sturdy round backplate, ETL-listed for safety, and sized to sit neatly without overwhelming small walls. Pair it with a warm-white filament bulb (sold separately) and let it do what it does best: make a quiet corner feel like yours.

One of the most distinctive signs of Vietnam is the hat used by women in the countryside to protect themselves from the sun and the rain and as a basket to carry food. Nón Lá is the name used to describe this Vietnamese hat and it is also the name we selected for this lamp. This is the way we pay homage to its shape and centenary culture. The simplicity of this cone-shaped lamp offers a lightweight and resistant structure with an avant-garde touch thanks to the decentralized light cavity. The lamp's hood is made out of aluminum. The cast iron base of the lamp is angle shaped, which makes it look ruder, in contrast to its subtle cone-shaped shade. Nón Lá fills the space with direct bottom light and includes a polycarbonate diffuser that hosts a dimming own-made LED plate.

Wall lamp in steel and aluminum. Movement is the source of inspiration for all of Bernard Schottlander's work: Artist, engineer-handyman, he has perfected a clever pivot-counterweight system, using flexible and resistant metal rods. His lights, inspired by the work of Alexandre Calder and playing on the tension between balance and imbalance, like mobiles, seem to defy the laws of gravity. The poetry of the object invites one to dream, elegance on a thread.

A swing arm allows this piece to easily be moved where you need it most, making it a great option for reading nooks. And since it features a plug-in installation, it's great for renters! These are cute but the shade is somewhat cheap looking. It came rolled up which at first seemed like a bad idea but it did help keep its shape. This sconce is perfect for our beach bungalow. They are just like the picture and the glass is heavy duty and solid I love them. However note that it doesn’t have a switch and it needs to be hardwired. I had 2 one for each side of the bed and didn’t want them on 1 switch. So we fixed that by putting in a smart bulb each with its own remote!! Now you can dim and turn off or on separately. It’s now the best part of our bedroom . Love love love them. Angela Pietig.
