The wood blades are so beautiful. The wood tone matches my beams pretty well which was a nice surprise. The fan is well crafted and I'm so pleased that it has a light. The light portion and the fan blades were very easy to install. The instructions are clear and it comes with extra hardware which is always so helpful. My favorite things about it are the fact that the wood grain sort of lines up on the fan blades and the hardware is really nice even though it's not showing. Replaced a large chandelier with this fan - light. Fan was easy to assemble and fills the space with a nice rustic look. Fan provides ample airflow and has has run timer allowing you to set and forget it. I my installation it provides just enough light for the area but if you need this for bright area lighting you may need to find bright bulbs. I was expecting the blades to look more natural. They are plastic and they look like plastic. Everything else is metal and high end. The fan works perfectly and so does the light. This fan is wonderful, we highly recommend it. It was very easy to install. The colors are closer to a red burgundy than brown in person, and the tops of the fans are a weird yellow color. The light is very pretty and the fan that retracts is a nice touch. The crystals are packaged separately as well as the pins to attach them so plan on spending some time putting the pins in each crystal and bending the wire to the right shape to hang. I dropped one star since the light has 3 settings for colour temp (warm vs cool) but there are no instructions for how to set it. Right now every time we turn the light on/off it switches to a different setting. The light is quite bright and the warm setting is good but the cool/bright setting would be more useful if you want to perform surgery. Really pretty chandelier that’s also a ceiling fan. I like the finished look of just being a pretty light. The bonus of having a ceiling fan to use for 3 seasons. The crystals need to be put on by the inner ring first follow the rings out. The smoked edge crystals add a nice contrast. Its installed and added new photo. I only suggest a dimmer switch.. Tami.
