The airtight IC shallow housing was designed for direct contact with ceiling insulation. This product has an adjustable socket bracket which allows for different lamp types and sizes for proper and consistent lamp positioning. A junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has knockouts with true pry-out slots. Lastly, an integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping.
