Lex in Latin is defined as law, principle, or condition. Simple architectural principles guided the design and construction of the Lex pendant. Three primary parts, the light, the hubs, and the wood slats, compose the form, function, and feel. The laws of attraction are often mysterious, and Lex's ability to appear both solid and porous simultaneously creates a sense of intrigue and freshness.

It's a nice fixture and seems like would be worth it if hard wired, but definitely would not recommend as a plug-in fixture because the backplate does not allow for the cord to drop down and the "switch" they provide is just a toggle switch that you have to connect to under the backplate...meaning you would have to reach up and behind the art to switch.. The design of this light embraces the aesthetic of picture lights that have been in use for decades and unites that classic look with modern technology. The direct wire pack allows their art lights to wire directly into your home's electrical system.
