This is a nice looking lamp. I got it because I thought it would go well with the Mission-style of furniture in my son’s bedroom and I think it does. Low profile, and perfect of the space I need! This lamp will do the trick for a corner area behind my husband's desk. Easy to assemble, though the lamp shade was a little tricky to clip together. The lamp is beautiful and works well in my office. The lamp shade is easy to assemble and filters the light while also providing sufficient illumination. One section of the body of the lamp didn’t align precisely however, with the natural appearance of the stand, it’s not very obvious. I did need some help attaching the base so that the lamp didn’t tilt. My dad had to hold the base for me so I could align the threads of the base and the body correctly. I love the solid light wood tone. It goes lovely with my decor. I was a bit disappointed that it was a shade you need to put together. However it was easy to assemble and looks good. I also didn’t like the glow of the light bulb that came with it and I don’t think it was 100 watts. I replaced that. Gives off great light.
