Made of recycled metal, hand painted and polished, the quality finish is superb! Lamp received was NOT the lamp pictured. Close, but NOT the same. The lamp I THOUGHT I was getting had a small 3-d cabin at the base (as pictured). I collect onyx lamps, just re-decorated my black & white & beiges and brought all shades of green, & nature itself through my large window, and with my other stone lamps stands out in an otherwise traditionally lit backdrop.
