A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. Just was installed today by my home care specialist, it took him 30 minutes to install it I already had a light fixture in the ceiling space . its quiet fast cooling , no noise at all ! remote control offers variety 3 or more of light settings. Yes the light can be turned off with fan still spinning cooling room ! I got 40 inch size blades because my ceiling has a bit of an angular shape . So it fits well , n looks great . Came very well packaged. I had a handyman install it. He did not seem to have any problems. It is controlled by the remote. The wall outlet (?) only turns the unit off. The fan moves alot of air with only three blades. The remote also controls on/off, warm/cool light, light brightness, 6 fan speeds, and has a timer. This product came with everything it was supposed to and provided clear instructions. Each item was individually wrapped and came in perfect condition. No scratches or knick’s. The black finish is one of my favorite features. It has a very sleek, modern look and matches our bedroom perfectly, giving the space a clean and updated feel. Assembly took about an hour from start to finish, which felt very reasonable. Once the fan itself was assembled, the wiring portion was straightforward and essentially wire-to-wire, which made installation much easier than expected. The fan feels sturdy and well-made once installed, and everything lined up properly without forcing any pieces. I also really love that it comes with a remote. The remote adds a lot of convenience and works smoothly, making it easy to control the fan and light without getting up.
