Love these sconces so far! Perfect design for the spot and such an upgrade to the old ones I had. Easy to install. The fixtures have aluminum wiring and my light boxes have copper, but I do not think it is a problem since they are indoors. The picture does not do the lighting justice! It looks really nice. I am in the process of getting a dimmer switch for them because it would be nice to be able to dim them, due to them being in my living room, in case we want a more cozy vibe. I needed a light fixture to look like it was supposed to hover over the side of the mirror (problems with the electrical box placement). This really fit the bill (pun unintended) - a conventional light in the middle of the wall would have looked ridiculous. How it perches in its twin sockets is novel to me - you just place it on its mounting.
