Beautiful lights and the fact they are dimmable is a plus. I didn’t install them so I can’t speak to that ease, but the electrician didn’t have any issues . Only 4 stars ⭐️ due to them being a little flimsy when it comes to aligning the light part horizontally flat. We bought the 43" plug-in version in black for our recently acquired painting, "And Then..." by Rose Frantzen (56" X 38"). The change in the appearance of the art was dramatic to say the least! Good light. Very bright but not harsh lighting. Easily hangs with some wall mounts. The instructions were a bit lacking and as a result I used my own wall mounts which could have been a bit sturdier, but with a bit of customization it would not be hard to get a better fit. These lamps look very classy and high quality. I purchased these to add additional/accent lighting in my hallway as it is quite dark. It worked great. The light is very bright. The color is more of a “white/bright” tone, but it is on the warmer end of the spectrum (aka not blue-toned at all). The light is almost too bright for where I was placing these. The fixture is adjustable in two locations (at the base attachment and at the light bulb attachment) which allowed me to turn the light towards the ceiling to soften the brightness. This feature was great and allowed me to play around until I got the light positioned exactly how I needed it. I really like that they are able to function as a plug-in or hardwired light fixture.
