Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. The fan is very sleek and could not be quieter. Just excellent. Two small things though. The specifications on Wayfair say it has "brushed bronze" blades. It does not. Thay are white, just like the body of the fan. In truth, I was thrilled, because it was pictured all white - and that's what I thought when I ordered. The second comment is that the installation guide is poor. It has a full step - with diagram - about removing six identical screws, but there's only one line about connecting the controller and all other electrical connections, with a vague picture. I'm pretty handy, but it took me some figuring. As I said though, the fan itself is awesome, so maybe the seller can correct the description and send more detailed install guide to purchasers. Awesome upgrade!! It took a few days to arrive & when I received it I initially was worried about the hue of the gold tone...but once it was up I am so happy for the purchase. The installation seemed pretty straightforward out of the box....my handyman put it up fairly quick. Only critique was the battery that came with the remote was dead....so he fumbled with the fan/remote for an extra 10 min thinking something went wrong with the install...only for us to figure out that it was only the battery that was the culprit. The 52 Inch Ceiling Fan with Light and Remote Control is made of high quality ABS material and stainless steel, which is strong and durable.

I replaced an older, outdated ceiling fan with this one in my bedroom. The design is sleek and it really upgraded the overall look of the room.  I also really like that it comes with a remote. The remote controls both the fan and the light, which is very convenient.  I like changing the color temperature depending on my mood or time of day. The fan has six speed settings and a natural wind mode, which I really love.  The remote also has a timer option (2, 4, or 8 hours), which is nice to have to help me stay cool and fall asleep with the fan on. The only downside for me is that the light itself isn’t very bright compared to my previous ceiling fan. It works fine for general lighting, but it’s not enough to fully light the room on its own.
