We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. I think it’s still pretty, just not very gold. Hopefully my client will be happy with it. UPDATE: Fandelier has been successfully installed. My client is very happy with it, it has more power than one might expect given the size of the blades & the remote works well. The *only* complaint is that it beeps every time the light is turned on/off, or the fan speed is adjusted - it's a totally unnecessary feature & a little annoying for my clients who have it installed over their bed in the primary bedroom.
