Now, I will admit , It was really convenient for me because I piggybacked off of an outside electrical outlet that happened to be directly under where I wanted the light to go. So, about 8 foot of insulated conduit and some basic wiring and it was good to go. It mounted to the side of the house with a few screws and is definitely water tight. This thing is also the perfect brightness for our needs. Good lights. Stakes are fairly cheal plastic, which doesn’t give a lot of confidence in their longevity, but only time will tell. My reason for 4 stars is the limitations another strand cannot be added on to the end of the existing strands. While the main power line allows you to add or remove half the lights (one strand of 4), that is the extent of the customization.
