We are happy with the light. It would be a bit better with z silver light bulb. The picture in the add does show that the bulb is visible but it is a bit deceiving as that bulb is metallic the one that came with mine is white so stands out. Now, I will admit , It was really convenient for me because I piggybacked off of an outside electrical outlet that happened to be directly under where I wanted the light to go. So, about 8 foot of insulated conduit and some basic wiring and it was good to go. It mounted to the side of the house with a few screws and is definitely water tight. This thing is also the perfect brightness for our needs.
