I'm in the process of remodeling with a new door/paint etc (still in the process) and my old porch lanterns were upfacing which is apparently almost impossible to find anymore. I needed to use the same holes so these were the first lanterns I was able to find that were large enough in size to ALMOST reach the top of the door frame. This is a nine foot door for reference. These are not heavy duty but dont feel overly cheap either. They weren't the hardest things we've ever put up but not the easiest like some people mentioned. For the price I'd definitely recommend.
