Purchased these to supplement broken pool light. These solar lights are decent. Not as bright as I had hoped. They require being attached to a string held down by weights (used rocks) not provided. I suppose they don’t really need to be weighted down but won’t stay in place of choice, obviously. Something else to consider-robot pool vacuum will get caught up in solar lights string. The indicator turns red when charging and green when it's done. I haven't had to plug it in in about a week, so it seems the solar charging is working wonderfully. I like that it has three brightness settings so I can just turn on a dim light in the evening while we are in the hot tub.
