These are super cute lamps! Both with great detail on the rope around the bottom. It was super easy to put the lamp shade together. They just roll and snap into place then velcro the back side. Great height with the shade on. Doesn’t take up a lot of space. The cord with the switch is long so you would need to put the switch in an easier get to position to turn it on or off if you don’t have a wall switch to use. But I love the way they look!. Carrie. Don't let the slender stem fool you, it's a nice heavy brass lamp. I like the modern vibes and it fits well within my mix of traditional and contemporary furniture. It is elegant but does not draw all the attention with its simplistic style. The 2 bulbs were a must for me (don't have overhead lighting in my room).
