Exactly what I needed for the reading corner. Comes with the ability to hardwire instead of plug in, but in our case we preferred the plug in to avoid calling an electrician. My only complaint, which is not a feature of the sconce but rather my own problem, is that I put it in a spot where the cord is fully visible, I need to figure out a way to hide that better. It works, but you have to be intentional about how you mount it. All three joints move in a single direction, so don’t assume you will have the ability to change the direction later on. I have a similar mount-on-the-wall light which allow for more movement and I somewhat expected that to be a standard. Also, you should plan to use a shorter bulb if you don’t want it sticking out.
