We love these lights but they do get HOT, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. I don’t think they have proper ventilation holes to release heat (LEDs aren’t supposed to get this hot). We have them in hallways as sconces so they aren’t on all the time. The first one we ordered was defective (didn’t screw on properly) so we’ve tried three of them (we originally ordered two) and they all got hot. So it’s just a design flaw.. Lindsay. Edmonton, AB. I absolutely love these sconces! They have such a unique modern vintage style, and I honestly havent seen anything else quite like them. We installed them in our modern traditional spare bathroom, and they are the perfect accent to the space. The glass filters the light so beautifully and gives off a really soft, pretty glow. Finding the right bulbs was a little tricky because the shape of the glass affects how the light comes through. We ended up using more tubular-shaped bulbs, which helped cast more light. Great sconce! I hate using the overhead lights in my kitchen, and my kitchen doesn’t have windows, so it gets pretty dark at night even with the light it gets from the lamps in my living room. Because of my dislike of using the big lights, I have been searching for a way to avoid using them without putting a lamp on my kitchen counter and creating clutter. Cue this sconce! It checks all my boxes on clutter-free lighting and looks great. Plus, I love that it has a plug-in option—I didn’t want anything hardwired since I live in an apartment building, and I feel like most cute, reasonably priced sconces are only offered in a hardwired option. I got two of these sconces and together they make my kitchen so bright. Goodbye to having to choose between straining my eyes when cooking at night or turning on the dreaded overhead lights. I definitely could have gotten away with only getting one, but whatever haha. Two adds ✨ambiance✨. I am very happy with this purchase.. Anonymous. Somerville, MA. Thu Sep 10 2026

We love that its weathered finish and raised accents on the joints add tons of vintage style to your decor. A cone shade completes the look as it directs the light of a 60W bulb (not included) throughout your space. This luminary can be turned on/off easily by a switch on the backplate.

Lend a splash of mid-century and rustic style to your space with this streamlined, one-light-armed sconce. Crafted of steel in a retro finish, this fixture features a raised round backplate with decorative screw caps and a single short, straight arm. Finished in a neutral tone for a sophisticated contrast, a streamlined cone shade ensconces one bulb to direct light upward, downward, and out.

These sconces are just the statement task lighting we needed in our kitchen remodel the brass plate was the right color of brass that matched our American Standard faucet and hardware from AMZ.. Karen. Dallas, TX. Mon Jun 01 2026
