We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. The first fan I received had a wiring issue and the light would not work after I had installed it. This seemed to be a fluke and as always, Wayfair made right by it and sent a replacement right away. Pretty cool design. I love that it is super quiet! We purchased this to match the room decor. It Looks great in the boys room. I Would have given it 5 stars if it wasnt such a miniature version of a regular sized ceiling fan. The blades seem to fit in my hand. Also, the blue blade looks more royal than navy or dark blue. Red Yellow are exact matching shade as shown in original photo. Installation was pretty painless. It took about an hour and a half with little to no experience in removing our old fan and replacing it with this one. This light fixture/ fan combination is beautiful and functional. It clears the air very quickly when reversed, but without the noise of our older fan. Be careful to choose bulbs with enough lumens to light up the area (we had to change from our original bulbs at 250 lumens to some that look the same, but give approx. 800 lumens).
