They are like fairy lights! Nice and petite. I have these in one of my trees and the solar panels are in the sun for most of the day and these hold a very long charge with that. The string of actual lights is very short. The light cages and plastic covers come off a few of them but you just have to push down the plastic covers firmly and set the cage back over it again, sometimes doing both at same time.. Holly. It's been raining so I haven't had the opportunity to hang them. I did plug them in and test the solar panel, seems to work fine.
