This is a high-quality and beautiful picture light. I searched for a large brass/gold picture life; this one was the best option. Unfortunately, the base is too small and does not cover the standard electric junction box. I had to return it. Here’s the things I didn’t realize: 1. very bright light and is an ugly LED look. 2.” Dimmable”, means YOU have to install either a dimmable light fixture, or get a plug in dimmable (which I did). Now that you know this…it is an awesome light!!!!! This unit comes with a strip of orange film you can put over the bulb to tone it down (which I did), it made a big difference, and after I attached the dimmable unit to it, I had EVERYTHING I needed.
