So, first things first, I'm giving this only 4 stars because we ordered the oil rubbed bronze, but it's more of a charcoal color. We like the color, it's just not what we necessarily wanted, or expected. In the product photos they have the bronze with the black color choice and the black with the bronze color choice. We had assumed the issue was that the pictures were just turned around, but now we're assuming they're labeled altogether wrong. Now, on to the main review. This fixture arrived quickly and well packaged. The glass shade was in perfect condition (and the glass is nice and thick and sturdy). I only bring this up because we've had issues in the past with glass shades arriving cracked or shattered, so this is important! Installation was quick and easy. We like that it's wet rated as this is right by our side garage door and there's no roof or protection from the elements over it. The size is nice (but make sure your location can allow for the fixture size as it's not small, nor is it huge, but it could easily overwhelm the wrong location). We're using a vintage style yellow Edison bulb, but it would look great with other bulb styles as well. Only caution, be careful about color selection and be prepared to exchange if needed. This traditional outdoor wall lantern's cast aluminum construction and Clear Seedy Glass are a formidable duo against the elements. The classic, New England design features a robust, beveled backplate that I-Beam-shaped post from which the lantern is suspended. The rounded cage of the body encases the Clear Seedy Glass, protecting the 12w Small LED bulb (not included). Classic lines and heritage details complement the Traditional architecture.

I ordered 2medium and 2 large in the penny finish. Love them. We have mostly antique bronze finish on our exterior, but from the pictures it seems like the lucky penny finish would match better which I think it does. Plus I preferred the frosted seeded glass that the lucky penny finish came with versus the clear seeded glass. So far I have installed only one but it was really simple. Very happy with my purchase and feel like this is a quality fixture that will last as long as I want to. The photo shows the size medium next to my front door. I will be installing the two large on either side of our three car garage. I definitely feel like the large is perfect for the garage area and the medium is a good size when you only have one light next to your front door. Everything was very well packaged and no damage.
