It’s a very well built quality lamp. Great if you need something very narrow and tall. However, it doesn’t produce a lot of light do the fact it’s a single bulb in a fairly very narrow glass bowl. If you want a lot of light, I would choose a floor lamp with a wider, more diffuse shade. Great if you want to just light up a dark corner.. Andrew. Los Altos Hills, CA. Sat Oct 25 2025

The lamp is very well made and is a beautiful gold color. I love the double pull chains. The only thing that is negative about it is it has a smell that I’m sure will fade. It’s the metal that has the smell not the lampshade. That is the only reason I am giving it a four star instead of a five.. Teresa. Omaha, NE. Mon Jul 20 2026

The base of the first light I ordered was damaged. The concrete under the chrome which is the weight of the base started breaking off and there was a bunch of grey sand in the plastic packaging. Wayfair was on it though. They sent out another and accept for a few small scratches on the base, a slight lean, and some resistance when turning the switch, the lamp looks great! The lamp serves the purpose well for which it was purchased. It really brightens a dark room. There should be a note to install the lampshade upside down. Typically, you would put the lampshade on with the inner cross-pieces on the upper side of the shade. If you do that on this one, the light bulb sticks out above the shade. If you turn it upside down, it sits perfectly.. Andi. Austin, TX. Mon Jul 31 2023
