I have a ceiling fan light that's still going strong after 13 years -- except for the remote. No amount of cleaning or new batteries would resuscitate it. I found this one a year ago that doesn't say it's for my fan but was the identical shape and color. Problem solved! I didn't even need to change the pin settings, just insert the batteries and I was good to go. Just note that the "Delay Off" button in the lower left corner (where my original dimmer button was located) works my light dimmer). I ignore the text and everything works as the old one did.
