While we lavish the living room and make the patio posh, sometimes it's easy to overlook the front porch! Certainly, not just a spot to search for your keys, it offers a world of possibilities for alfresco unwinding. Start off with a pair of rocking chairs, a classic that you can make modern in an instant with a plush patterned pillow or a chunky knit throw blanket. Next, add a few oasis-inspired accents with bunches of potted plants, whether potted on the floor or adorning tabletops and railings. And finally, make it all shine with this essential outdoor pendant. Inspired by rustic farmhouses, it features a simplistic silhouette with a rounded shade and solid finish. You can let it illuminate all on its own, or add in a few flickering candle lanterns to up the ambiance while you watch the stars.
