Lovely sconce - very nice brushed brass/gold finish nice neutral shade. LED lights are easy to charge and place. Only reason for 4 stars is that the “white light” option is too bright white/ cool in color for my liking. If it were a warm white I would be totally in love with these sconces! Remote works well. In my picture you can see how bright the sconces are compared to the nice warm color of the bedside lamp. This is the sconces on the “white” setting at low brightness. The silhouette beautifully reminds me of an old vintage camera photo light. I lean heavily into an eclectic interior design style, preferring to mix modern and vintage elements rather than buying straight from a catalog. Pairing old and new items together gives a space a highly polished, designer-curated look. The fixture arrived incredibly fast and was packaged securely to preserve its pristine condition. Functionally, this sconce solved a major structural dilemma for me. I needed a light fixture with a substantial backplate big enough to completely cover a protruding framing electrical box on my wall. I purchased multiple other sconces, but none had a large enough mounting canopy to hide the electrical work until I found this one. The electrician installed it extremely quickly with zero complications. The sizing is completely true to the online specifications, measuring exactly 12 inches, with the beautiful, soft scalloped glass center section coming in at 5 1/2 inches wide. It features a good, substantial weight that feels solid and high quality without being overly heavy. The finish is a gorgeous, soft brushed brass. I mounted it next to a raw, unlacquered brass pendant light; while the two brass styles feature slightly different undertones, they complement each other beautifully for a curated, mix-and-match look. To ground the space, I paired the sconces with a set of the Kalalou 65" Tall Black Metal Wall Shelves (also from Wayfair). The contrast of the delicate, soft vintage scalloped detail from the light fixture against the stark, dark metal of the shelves looks stunning. I also styled the sconce alongside a thrifted library armoire for a traditional touch to see which one I preferred. Such a genius idea to have sconces with a rechargeable lightbulb! I had never heard of this until I saw it on Wayfair, and of course now I see them quite a bit. This hallway going down to my basement is very dark. The electrician said he could not put a light up in the ceiling after he climbed up in the attic to look. So when I saw these, I was so excited to be able to do such a simple thing to add light to this dreary, dark hallway! I had a bit of a struggle getting them mounted right because they are so close to my ceiling, but other than that, it is very simple to get them mounted and have instant light wherever you might need it! The gold shade on these actually move, so you can rotate it to your desired spot. Strangely, it is a bit tricky to get the remote to work for both lights. It does come with two. So I just was played around with it and pushed buttons until I was able to sync them. I wish I could remember what I did but that part was a little frustrating. I actually mounted the remote to the side of the wall where I do have a switch that turns on a light at the very bottom of the stairs.
