Clean, crisp and modern, this drum lamp shade comes in a white faux silk fabric

This lampshade was quite nice, but it did arrive with a couple of "dings" in it. They were small ones. Not visible until I cut off all of the wrapping. Since they were not in the front, I decided not to worry about them and to keep the shade. These hard shell drum shades are difficult to transport and not get a "ding." I am not sure I would have gotten one home from a local store in perfect condition, either. The color I chose was Beige. Without the light on, the shade looks more of an ivory color. So if you need an actual beige, keep looking. It does look more beige with the light on, for some reason. The Shantung fabric is quite nice and smooth looking. It is a modern, attractive lamp shade.. This Square Bell No Slub Lampshade has a hint of traditional flair and will be a great addition to your lamp base. This hardback lampshade includes a standard bulb clip that fits over a standard harp and can be used with your existing finial design. This high quality crafted square bell shaped has a slight slant to give it some visual interest and is crafted of the finest no slub innsbruk cotton with a fold on top and bottom of the shade.

Makes me happy and the "pink blush" color and little flowered accent is "fun" for a fifty plus woman. Only "problem" is that it needs a proper lamp base - and that is difficult to find as it is UNO inside "name" - and a sort of special size of UNO (a barrel shaped shade from another UNO base showed to me that the fit has to be more "designed around the light bulb plus empire shade style". I contacted Wayfair about the problem - and I think they need to do some research and make some phone calls during "other people's (not theirs) customer service hours (regular business days of a regular time zone) - but as in the past - I know they will help me. They may even add to this "customers who purchased this also purchased" - and show the lamp bases and light bulbs that "work" - a spider lamp or a harp one and a conversion (blah blah blah) would be difficult to do unless you are "very good at lamp construction, lamp parts and sizing of these". I am above average in that (have loved lamps, chandeliers and such for a long time) - but it is a deep and broad subject - as European designed lamps (like foreign country electricity) is a bit different in size and how things are twisted and done and designed..
