I'm really happy with this lamp. I wanted to install a reading lamp by a couch, and purchased this one because I loved the design. We had a similar one in my childhood home and seeing this lamp in my current home brings me good memories. For me, it's been well worth the price and I will likely purchase a second one for a different room. One of our largest and original collections, the Shauna is made up of a vast selection of heavy metal finishes and a large array of metal and glass shades that bring a touch of industrial into your home.

Really beautiful! I did the nickel finish (it's lighter than depicted...I'd say true brushed nickel- the kind with a cool undertone...not with a brassy warm undertone). I paired it with the Lampert 3 - Light Shaded Drum Chandelier in my daughter's new room as a bed light.. Kimberly. Sat Oct 04 2025

This swing arm lamp has 2 different light fixtures that you can use alone or together to meet your lighting needs! It has a light with a fabric shade for a soft yet useful glow, plus a gooseneck reading light for when you need a little more illumination.

I bought two of these, one for each side of my bed. The lights work great and they were easy enough to put up, however one of them came with none of the mounting hardware (screws and wall anchors) and didn’t come with the plastic nut thing that screws into the base to secure the lamp shade. It’s not a huge deal, the bulb screws in over the lamp shade so it’s not going to fall off or anything, but it would’ve been nice to have the piece to secure the shade in place better. But the lights works perfectly and I really like the length of the extendable reading light!. Casey. Alpine, TX. Mon Sep 21 2020

Great light and I like that we were able to put a bright bulb for the user who likes very bright reading lights. A lot of the similar lights take candelabra bulbs which are generally much dimmer. A truly dynamic fixture, the Ballston fits seamlessly amidst most décor styles. Its sleek design and vast offering of finishes and shade options makes the Ballston an easy choice for all homes.

This 1-light wall sconce is an ideal reading light and one that doesn’t take up any space on your desk or nightstand. It’s made from bronze in a variety of finishes and includes a glass shade. We love that its swing arm is adjustable, so this light shines wherever you need it. A cord cover is included for a clean look but, if you’d rather hardwire this wall sconce, its cord is removable. It’s compatible with a dimmer switch, and you have the option to mount it facing up or down. Plus, a lightbulb is included.

These are fantastic! They really add to our bedroom in a way that looks high end. Installation was not difficult (see below for a tiny caveat) and the materials feel well made. Two thoughts: 1. If you aren’t hardwiring, there is a pole to mask the power cord. On both lamps, the cord would go 95% of the way through and get stuck. If you put the cord through going the opposite direction, it worked perfectly…but you can’t do that because the male end has to screw into the lamp itself. I finally tied some dental floss around the cord and pulled it through. 2. The “dimmable” part is a mystery at the moment because the included bulbs don’t dim. If you’re going to hang your hat on a feature, it seems to me you should include everything needed to allow that feature to work.. Anonymous. US. Mon Aug 05 2024
