I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. Just was installed today by my home care specialist, it took him 30 minutes to install it I already had a light fixture in the ceiling space . its quiet fast cooling , no noise at all ! remote control offers variety 3 or more of light settings. Came very well packaged. I had a handyman install it. He did not seem to have any problems. It is controlled by the remote. The wall outlet (?) only turns the unit off. This seems like good fan, packed well all parts included, it can be all black or the blades also have wood tone on one side, we chose the wood and it has an LED light. Fairly easy to assemble and install, the remote is huge and also needs an extra part installed for the remote to work which isn't that big of a deal just seems like an extra step when other fans we have just have the remote integrated.. This fan looks great. The best part about it though is how simple it is. It was simple to put together and simple to install. It has 6 speeds. It can change direction for the seasons. It is powerful and lets off a good breeze on the higher settings. The remote to operate it is simple as well and very convenient. It comes with a wall mount for the remote so you dont lose it.
