This is more of an issue for All Modern and their lack of details on the specification page. This fixture is beautiful however, it comes with a very long rod already assembled making it difficult to adjust during the installation. We intend to hang this light from the canopy above our porch and the 31" rod makes it set far too low. We will have to take the fixture apart, cut and re-thread the extension rod and reassemble in order to make this a useful fixture. If the description had included this information I would not have ordered the light. It is custom made and non-returnable so I am stuck with it. I am building a new house and spending tens of thousands of dollars on line ordering lighting, fixtures, furniture etc. I will be unlikely to use All Modern again as I cannot trust that their descriptions are accurate. I purchased 3 of the Ahmauri 1 light fixtures to place over a kitchen island, and 2 of the same 3 light fixtures to go over a kitchen table (the ceiling height is 10 feet). I love the way the look. The lights shipped unharmed in molded foam and double boxed. I don't recommend them for outside use. The white glass has no support frame, and thins in the corners of the glass (see the photos with a penny on the glass for reference of the thickness). I did brake one of the glass corners. As I was unwrapping it I VERY GENTLY placed it down and one corner had too much pressure on it. I was able to super glue the larger peices together and turned that broken top corner toward the wall. DON'T PUT ANY WEIGHT OR PRESSURE ON THE CORNERS OF THE GLASS. They came with approx. 5 feet of chain and longer wiring. I used a warm light dimmable LED bulb. The glass is white. The bottom cross bracket screws do not have a finishing edge inside and are noticeable. I am happy with the classy look and the beautiful light they provide.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 25 2024

I purchased two of the Ahmauri 3 light fixtures, and placed them over my kitchen table (room has a 10 foot ceiling). Over all I love the light and am happy with it. They are listed as being an outdoor light, but I don't think I would recommend them for outside. The glass is one piece (with no side frame for support) that bends and is cornered at the top. The glass is thicker in the straight middle of the sides, but the corner glass thins quite a bit (see the photos with a penny placed on the glass to show the difference in glass thickness). While unwrapping the glass I VERY CAREFULLY placed it down on my counter and there was a tiny bit of pressure on the top corner of the glass and it broke. I super glued the larger pieces back together and put that corner toward the back of the room. DON'T PUT ANY PRESSURE OR WEIGHT ON THE CORNERS. That being said - I don't think this light can handle being outside, it is too fragile. The lights were shipped encased in molded styrofoam and double boxed. They arrived in perfect condition. I also ordered the same light in the single bulb version to hang over a kitchen island. I used a warm LED dimmable bulb. The glass is white, providing a soft light. There was approx. 5 feet of chain and a greater length of the wiring. They look classy except the inside bottom screws that hold the bottom cross bar do not come with a finished piece for the inside.
