we got the outdoor post lantern a few weeks ago and got it up next to the driveway close to the kitchen door, it is great in the evening to sit outside and not have to move around to get a light to come on, we also got a shimmering light to go inside of it, and it looks like one of those old timey post you see in the westerns or old movies where someone had to go around and light up all of the street lights, and the glass being frosted it is just stunning. we love it.... Bought this lamp post to match my garage lights. Overall it looks good. My only complaint is that the glass is FROSTED not clear. It looks clear on the website but it’s not, it’s frosted. This post lamp was very well packed. It arrived in perfect condition. As advertised, it was easy to install, and the light provides a very nice glow. It can be set up with a part that meets dark sky standards, which our community requires. The design syncs well with modern mission transitional style. I made the mistake of ordering two because the site froze up before I submitted, so I thought I needed to resubmit.
