I haven’t used this lamp for an extended period of time so Im not able to review the longevity - I’ll just hope it lasts! This was easy to put together and from the time I unboxed it took about 30 leisurely minutes so I would say it was easy to assemble. I sat down the entire time! The instructions were easy to read and the shade assembly is pretty clever! I assume I could get another lamp shade later if I want but I have no complaints.
