Cameras are great and SUPER easy to set up. I am in MN, so it will be interesting to see if the battery works. While Eufy could GREATLY improve their e-commerce site, I am happy with what I got. BUT, a few things not apparent on the order page that might help you: 1. Cameras come with cords; so you can charge AND/OR do solar. You cannot plug them in. 2. You want to make sure your entire system sycnhs to homebase, and there are multiple homebase versions (these MAY be, but seem incompatible when trying to set up full systems, so make sure you get all consistent with your base) 3. Still working on figuring out the app settings, as different cameras have different settings available, but I like these. When lux is set to the highest level, the light will activate whenever motion is detected, both during the day and night. The duration of illumination will follow the time delay set by the TIME switch. b. When lux is set to the lowest level: When lux is set to the lowest level, the sensor will flash the indicator light twice during the day without turning on the main light, while at night, the main light will activate with motion and turn off after the preset TIME delay. This is a good little camera. It has all the features you expect and sets up fine. The app is user friendly and easy to navigate. We used it to keep an eye out on our driveway but found it wasnt clear enough picture for the distance.
