Metal base with painted finish. Each piece of stained glass is hand-soldered into place using the traditional copper foil technique.

Absolutely love this lamp. It’s beautiful. It doesn’t let off a whole lot of light so if you’re looking for something that will give off a lot of light this isn’t for you. This is more of a cozy ambiance light. I love it and it looks beautiful in my living room. The base is beautiful and beautifully detailed.. Anonymous. Wed Apr 01 2026

As other reviewers have said the lamp is easy to topple. It’s top front heavy but we don’t have any issues with it in the corner if no one bumps it. It’s shorter than I imagined but it’s a beautiful blue I was worried when people claimed it’s purple but it’s more indigo. The glass is beautiful.. Shauna. CA. Thu Apr 16 2026

Beautiful lamp and great classic design! Love the colors. The only thing to note is that it is pretty top heavy and the base isn’t very wide so be mindful of it potentially tipping in high traffic areas or if it’s on carpet (mine is on carpet and there is a slight tilt if you bump into it.).
